Program Overview
Rookie Ball is the perfect introduction to game play for young athletes to learn the fundamentals and be ready to put their skills into action. Combining structured coaching with small-sided games, players continue to build confidence, improve decision-making, and develop an understanding of spacing, teamwork, and game concepts in a fun, supportive environment.
With professional coaches leading every session, Rookie Ball helps players transition from learning the game to truly playing it, creating a strong foundation for future success in Spark League, Prep for Rep, and Rep Teams.

Does my child need basketball experience?
No. Rookie Ball is designed as a true starting point for players ages 5-7, Grades 1-3, whether they've never touched a basketball or are ready to build on what they know.
Which session should we pick?
Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings all run the same program, so pick whichever fits your family's week best.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are held at De La Salle College's John Hunt Centre in Midtown Toronto, with professional-quality courts and a parent viewing area.
Will this program lead to Spark League or Rep Teams?
Rookie Ball builds the fundamentals and confidence that set players up for Spark League, Prep For Rep, and eventually Rush Rep Teams as they grow.
