High-rep, mechanics-first shooting work to improve shooting mechanics and accuracy, open to all players ages 8-13.
Program Overview
Shooting Clinics are built for players ages 8-13 already playing organized basketball in houseleague, school teams, or rep teams, who are interested in an instruction shooting session led by professional coaches in a high-rep environment. This is a focused skills session, not a general practice, so every minute goes toward form, footwork, and repetition.
Coaches break shooting down to its fundamentals: hand placement, base, release, and follow-through, then rebuild it into game-speed reps: catch-and-shoot, off the dribble, and shooting off movement and screens. Players leave with cleaner mechanics and the reps needed to make those mechanics hold up when a game is on the line. Sessions run out of De La Salle College near St. Clair Ave & Avenue Road, conveniently serving families in Midtown Toronto, Forest Hill, North Toronto, Leaside, Rosedale, and the Annex, and are open to all players, including players currently registered in Spark League, Prep For Rep, or Rep Teams.

Program Note: All sessions are open to Boys and Girls ages 8-13. Players are grouped by age and ability so every child is appropriately challenged and builds confidence at their own pace. Please note there will be 1-2 blackout dates during the season due to school events. There are NO sessions over major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, March Break).

Who is our Shooting Clinic for?
This clinic is open to all intermediate or advanced players ages 8-13, including current Spark League, Prep For Rep, and Rep Team players. Players from outside Rush Basketball are welcome to join!
