3x3 League

Fewer players, more touches. Fast, coached 3x3 basketball on weeknights at De La Salle, so every player handles the ball, makes decisions, and stays in the action.

Program Overview

The 3x3 League is RUSH Basketball's newest program, offered for Boys U10 and U12 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Both age groups play at the same time on a split court, with U10 on one half and U12 on the other. With only three players a side, there's nowhere to hide: every player gets the ball, defends, rebounds, and makes reads on every possession. Games are run by professional Rush Basketball coaches, many of whom played collegiate or professional basketball.

The 3x3 League runs out of De La Salle College near St. Clair Ave & Avenue Road and serves families across Midtown Toronto, Forest Hill, North Toronto, Leaside, Rosedale, and the Annex. It pairs well with our Saturday Spark League, and players looking for more can add our Shooting Clinic or 'Be An Athlete' Clinic, step up to Prep For Rep, or move on to competitive Rep Teams.

FAQs

Common Questions

Why 3x3 instead of 5v5?

With only three players a side, every player is involved in every possession. Kids get more shots, more ball-handling, and more decisions per game than in a full-court 5v5 format, which speeds up development.

How does the split court work?

The gym is divided in half. U10 plays on one half and U12 on the other, both from 7:00 to 8:00pm, each with their own coaches and games.

How are teams created?

Every season opens with a player evaluation. Coaches build balanced 3x3 teams by age and skill so games stay fair and every player is challenged. Friend requests are welcome but can't be guaranteed.

Can my child do both 3x3 League and Spark League?

Yes. The 3x3 League runs on weeknights and Spark League runs on Saturdays, so they fit together easily. Email info@rushbasketball.ca with any questions.

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are held at De La Salle College's John Hunt Centre on Avenue Road in Midtown Toronto, a short drive or transit ride for families in Forest Hill, North Toronto, Leaside, the Annex, and North York.

Is there a girls 3x3 League?

The 3x3 League launches with Boys U10 and U12. Girls interested in a weeknight 3x3 option can email info@rushbasketball.ca to get on our interest list.

Ready to join the 3x3 League?

Winter 2027 registration opens November 5. Spots are limited on each half of the court, so secure yours early.
